How Yellowstone Helps the Environment
At Yellowstone National Park there is an odd entrance fee. If you enter the park by car the fee is $25, if you enter the park by motorcycle or snowmobile then the fee is only $20, and if you enter the park on foot, bike, ski, or other the fee is only $13. This shows that the Yellowstone staff wants to protect the environment from harmful chemicals and to make the wildlife as rich as possible. This is a very good thing for the environment and keeps the park cleaner.
How Yellowstone Helps You
Not only does Yellowstone help it's environment, but it helps you too. At Yellowstone National Park you can get a park pass to come to the park as much as you want. To go hiking and camping you always need some gear to keep you safe and protected.
- Hiking boots: Hiking boots will be very useful on long hikes to protect you from any tough terrain that you might encounter.
- Rope: Rope is also important for food. Each night you should put any food you have into a bag and then tie it up into a tree. This is because bears or other animals could eat any food that you might have and that could also out you in danger.
